The Windows are messages from those that are locked on the outside. The messages written on the outside of the windows speak about separation and isolation.

The words are poems and lyrics are from a variety of artists who knew what it was to be on the outside.

The Windows are salvaged lead-paned windows backed with Rives BFK paper upon which I wrote in backward mirror writing. Before mounting the paper was hung out in the rain, during which the words blurred and ran.The windows are bound in steel wire which helps to heighten the visual tension as well as holding the delicate windows together.
